Introduction:
To connect AngelOne in AlgoDelta’s Copy Trading software, follow these steps:
1. Enable TOTP from AngelOne SmartApi.
2. Enter static ip and then Generate API Key.
3. Add AngelOne Account Details in Algodelta’s Copy Trading
Step 1 :
Open the AngelOne SmartAPI website using the following link: https://smartapi.angelbroking.com/.
Next, click on the “New Login” button to continue with your Angel One API and copy trading setup.
After that, you can log in using your Mobile Number, Client ID, and TOTP to complete the Angel One authentication process.
Next, enter your PIN to verify your Angel One account and proceed with the copy trading setup.
After successful login, you will be redirected to the Angel One API creation page to continue your copy trading setup.
Step 2: For creating API
Next, click on the “ADD APP” button to create your Angel One API and continue the copy trading setup.
You will now see a pop-up window where you need to enter your App Name (e.g., “AlgoDelta”). For both the Redirect URL and Postback URL, enter https://www.google.com. In the Primary Static IP field, add the Static IP provided by the AlgoDelta software. Once all details are filled in, click the Add button to complete the Angel One static IP API setup.
For getting Static IP
To get your Static IP, log in to your AlgoDelta account and navigate to the “Static IP” tab. Click on the “Purchase IP” button to continue.
Next, select IPv4 (since Angel One supports only IPv4), click on the Purchase button, and wait a few seconds for the Static IP to be activated.
Once the process is complete, you will be able to view your Static IP, which is required for connecting Angel One with AlgoDelta for secure copy trading.
To bind the Static IP with your Angel One account, go to the Demat tab and click on the three-dot menu. Select the Reconnect option.
Next, enable the “Connect with IP” setting and choose the Static IP that you purchased and linked for Angel One copy trading.
Then click on the dropdown menu, and you will be able to view and select your Static IP for Angel One copy trading integration.
Step 3: Generate TOTP
To generate your TOTP key, simply click on the “Enable TOTP” button to activate secure authentication for your Angel One copy trading setup.
Next, enter your Angel One Client ID and PIN to generate your TOTP key for secure API login and copy trading authentication. After that, click on the Login button, and you will be able to view your TOTP key on the screen.
Now, go to AlgoDelta’s Copy Trading using the following link: https://algodelta.com/platform/login. Enter your AlgoDelta email ID and password.
Go to the “Demat” tab and click on “Add Demat Account” Select AngelOne as the broker and provide the following details: Nickname, Mobile Number, Email, Angel ID, Angel Pin, API Key, and TOTP Key (generated from the SmartAPI portal). Click on “Add.” You will see a “Broker Connected” pop-up.
